Moody Gardens Offers first look inside ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday

Photo Opp:  This is the first chance to capture scene one of ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday, which features an ice replica of the Moody Gardens Rainforest Pyramid along with a porcupine, turtle island and your hosts along this journey, our leaf cutter ants. These mesmerizing ice sculptures are just a few of what you can look forward to capturing on your first look inside ICE LAND.
         
Details:  Moody Gardens invites to you an exclusive first look inside ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday to see what transforming two million pounds of ice into towering and majestic works of art looks like from the beginning stages. Witness first-hand the award-winning ice carvers from Harbin, China, hard at work inside the 28,000 square-foot tent.
 
This year’s ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday will feature monkeys, beautiful birds, colorful butterflies and so much more.  Media events will be held every two weeks, with the next glimpse being offered Oct. 26. With the addition of ICE LAND, Festival of Lights and six other holiday attractions, Moody Gardens is positioned as the premier holiday destination on the Gulf Coast.
 
ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday will be open Nov. 11-Jan. 7, 2018. Other holiday attractions include Festival of Lights, Cirque Joyeux Noel, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4D, 3D films, Arctic Slide, ice skating, train rides and so much more.

Special attire: Due to the ICE LAND tent being a construction zone, all attendees are required to wear the appropriate closed-toed shoes during their visit. Hard hats and parkas will be provided.
